In March 2025, the University of Mindanao’s Criminology Department reached out to our team with a request for a live demonstration of our advanced shooting range simulator. Understanding the university’s commitment to producing well-trained and field-ready graduates, we tailored a simulation experience that showcased the full capabilities of our system—ranging from basic marksmanship training to high-pressure use-of-force decision-making scenarios. The event was held on-site at their Davao campus, drawing the participation of both faculty members and senior criminology students, who eagerly engaged with the realistic, immersive modules.
During the demonstration, the department’s faculty observed how our simulator could bridge the gap between classroom instruction and practical, hands-on training. With interactive scenarios, immediate performance feedback, and customizable training modules, the system clearly aligned with their academic goals and curriculum needs. The realistic simulations impressed the university’s board of advisors, especially in how it reinforced key competencies such as critical thinking, communication under stress, and proper firearm handling. The flexibility of our platform to simulate local law enforcement scenarios further underscored its relevance to Philippine criminology education.
Following the event, the University of Mindanao formally decided to acquire one full training package for its Criminology Department. The purchase marks a significant step in the university’s investment in modernizing its training infrastructure, making them one of the first academic institutions in Mindanao to integrate this level of simulation-based learning. The simulator will now serve as a core component of their law enforcement and tactical training curriculum, helping students graduate with stronger practical skills and better preparedness for real-world policing challenges.
